SE SPORT comes with all the hardware you need: four stainless bolts and locking nuts, 4 stainless washers, and 4 rubber washers.

Quick and easy to install using drill, screwdriver and socket wrench.

Center the SE Sport on the top of the cavitation plate. Leave at least 1/4 inch metal (1/2 inch preferred) from the rear holes to the end of the cavitation plate. Do not position so far forward that the Sport tilts upward. Remove the foil after marking four 1/4" holes.

Use the site gauge as a final template guide to verify proper placement. Great for marking holes on difficult to mark plates.

After drilling holes, insert the bolts (1" forward/ 1 1/4" rear) from the bottom up. Place the rubber washers (3/32" forward / 3/16" rear) between the SE Sport and the
top of the cavitation plate.

Place steel washers and locking nuts on top. Use the locking nuts only once in the assembly. Reusing them can cause the locking insert to fail. Most hardware stores stock stainless locking nuts if reassembly is required.

Use an alternating torque pattern, beginning at the front holes, for even compression. Tighten to snug then add 1/4 extra turn.

*Volvo SX requires longer bolts: 1 1/4" forward (included) 1 1/2" rear (not included). Many other Volvos including the series 270 and 280 require four 2 1/2" bolts with fender washers. Purchase locally or call: 940-686-9000.
